What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is a versatile filler that offers lifting and rejuvenation benefits. It is a collagen stimulating filler that not only lifts skin, defines the face and replaces lost volume but also improves skin texture and elasticity.
How does Radiesse work?
Radiesse works by stimulating your body to produce collagen. It is made of Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier of sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). When injected, it immediately adds volume to deficient areas and contours facial features. Over time, the CMC gel is fully absorbed, and the body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres, leaving behind your own natural collagen
Treatment areas
Radiesse can be used to treat most areas of the face, including temples, cheeks and jawline. It can also be used to sculpt facial features by augmenting the nose and chin. Other areas include hand, neck, decolletage and body rejuvenation.
How long do results last?
Radiesse treatment will show immediate lifting and volume replacement. Then around 8-12 weeks post initial treatment you will see the results of the bio-stimulation as more collagen and elastin has been made revealing firmer, supple skin. The results over 18+ months, depending on individual goals and desired outcomes. This treatment normally requires between 1-2 treatments spaced 12 weeks apart but individual results vary.
